Location

Located on the north-western coast of Sardinia, between Castelsardo and Stintino, the Acqua di Mare Hotel & Resort overlooks the picturesque gulf of Asinara, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and a natural setting of great charm. The location is strategic: the port of Porto Torres is about 25 km away, Alghero airport about 45 km, while Olbia (port and airport) is about 110 km away. It is the ideal starting point for visiting the north of the island.

Beach

The Resort overlooks the sea, with a splendid view of the gulf of Asinara. For guests staying on a hotel basis, beach service with parasols and sun loungers is included (subject to availability). The privileged location also allows easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia, ideal for those who love to explore unspoilt coves and coastlines, such as Platamona beach, La Pelosa, Le Saline and many others.

Rooms

The Acqua di Mare Hotel & Resort offers accommodation in hotel rooms furnished in typical Sardinian style and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub. The rooms are located in the main building or in the ‘Conchiglie’ area (in terraced units 200 to 350 metres from the sea) and are all equipped with air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, safe, mini fridge, balcony or furnished terrace and private bathrooms with hair dryer. On request, cots are available at an additional cost of € 10 per day, payable on site, subject to availability.

Bar & Restaurant

The sea view restaurant has an air-conditioned indoor dining room and cosy covered outdoor dining areas.

Meals are served buffet style (table service at set times) and are enhanced by themed evenings, show cooking, a grill and a pizza corner. Mineral water in jugs, soft drinks and wine are included with meals.

For younger guests, there is a convenient baby feeding area with bottle warmers and microwaves. Guests with food intolerances or coeliac disease can count on gluten-free basic products and assistance with meals throughout their stay, provided they notify us at the time of booking (the absence of contamination cannot be guaranteed). At the snack bar near the pool, you can enjoy delicious snacks and aperitifs, admiring beautiful sunsets and sip excellent cocktails after dinner. 

Activities and Services

Free Wi-Fi in both the rooms and common areas, free parking within the resort (unattended). There is also a charming little square with an adjoining portico, ideal for relaxing. Guests will also find a boutique/bazaar and a mini-market within the Resort. Additional services (on request and for a fee) include excursions, car hire, bicycle hire, taxi service and transfers to and from the airport. 

Sport

The Resort offers 2 swimming pools equipped with sun loungers and parasols, one with sea views and one surrounded by greenery with easy access for children and people with mobility difficulties. Guests also have access to 2 tennis courts, a gym and a children's play area. 

Animation and Entertainment

The Resort boasts an engaging, professional Amareclub entertainment team that is always attentive to guests' needs. Every day, it offers a rich programme of sports and recreational activities, tournaments, games and entertainment for adults and children, transforming each day into a dynamic and fun experience. For younger guests, the resort offers a comprehensive range of activities divided into age groups: Mini Club (4-7 years), Maxi Club (8-11 years), Junior Club (12-14 years) and Young Club (15-18 years). Each group follows personalised entertainment and sports programmes, with dedicated shows and formats designed to engage and entertain children and teenagers in a dynamic and stimulating way. In the evening, shows and events enliven the Resort, offering unmissable entertainment for the whole family. The entertainment programme runs from 29/05 to 27/09.

To be paid on site

Club card compulsory (from 29/05 to 27/09): € 7 per day for adults; € 3,5 for children aged 3 to 11.

Tourist tax: to be defined.

Pets

Pets are welcome, upon request, with a supplement of € 15 per night to be paid on site (not allowed in common areas). A valid health card is required.
