PROGRAM

HAVANA
1st Day: Welcome reception by our assistant at the airport and transfer to the Hotel, accommodation and dinner.

HAVANA
2nd Day: Breakfast at the hotel. Brief informative meeting. Panoramic tour of the Havana including:  walking tour by the historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (Plaza San Francisco de Asís, Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas, Plaza de la Catedral, La Bodeguita del Medio, Handicraft Market and Palace of Handicraft). Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continuation of the tour by the former Presidential Palace, the Central Park, National Capitol, the Revolution Square, La Rampa avenue and the seaside promenade (locally call Malecón). At the end, dinner in a typical restaurant in Old Havana and free time to enjoy the nightlife of this attractive World Heritage city.Back to the hotel.

HAVANA - PINAR DEL RIO - HAVANA (distance of about 330 km).
3rd Day: After breakfast, departure to Pinar del Río, the most western province of the island. Excursion the Tobacco Route in Pinar del Río, where the famous Cuban tobacco is grown. Visit to the "Quemado del Rubí" factory and the “Casa del Tabaco” (tobacco house) and its plantations. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon departure to “Viñales” Valley, a place of incomparable beauty made up of rocky massifs with vertical walls and rounded floors. Visit to the Mirador “Los Jazmines” (view point) and the Mural of Prehistory with cave painting (moderns) that represents the geological and biological evolution of the species. Return to Havana. Dinner in a typical restaurant. Back to the hotel. 

HAVANA - CIENFUEGOS (travel of about 340 km)
4th Day: After breakfast, departure to Cienfuegos, crossing the Ciénaga de Zapata national park with visit to Guamá, in Montemar Park, in the heart of the Laguna del Tesoro (Treasure Lagoon), the largest natural lake in Cuba. Visit to the crocodile farm and boat ride up to the Taino village, a reproduction of an indigenous village with 32 life-size sculptures made by the famous Cuban sculptress Rita Longa,  that represent the daily activity carried out by the Cuban aborigines who inhabited the island long before before the arrival of the Spanish. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon free time to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Continuation of the trip to Cienfuegos. Arrival to the hotel, accommodation and dinner.

CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD (route of about 85 km)
5th day: After breakfast at the hotel, city tour, which includes a walk to the main square, José Martí Park and its surroundings. Continue to Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk around the city. Stop at the famous La Canchánchara bar where you can taste a typical local drink. Lunch in a typical restaurant in the area. In the afternoon visit to the potter's house, an authentic tradition in this area. Visit to the panoramic viewpoint of the Valle de las Azucareras, an old industrial area of ​​Trinidad during the 18th and 19th centuries. Return to the hotel and dinner.

TRINIDAD
6th Day: After breakfast departure for the excursion “Seafari by the Caribbean Sea of ​​Cuba” where you will have the opportunity to snorkel in the coral reef. During the excursion you will visit “Cayo Macho de Afuera”, which is a tyni island whose beach is among the best of Cuba’s southern coast and also a diver’s heaven for its crystal waters and kaleidoscopic variety of corals, sponges and gorgonians. Lunch based on delicious local seafood. Free time to enjoy of this beautiful beach. Return to the hotel and dinner. 

TRINIDAD - TOPES DE COLLANTES – SANTA CLARA  distance 60 km
7th day: After breakfast departure to “Topes de Collantes” park, 800 meters above sea level in the heart of the “Sierra del Escambray”. Excursion to “Guanayara” natural park in a Russian 6x6 vehicle including:  panoramic tour by the mountain community “Cuatro Vientos”, mountain hiking up to “El Rocío” waterfall, free time to enjoy nature and take a refreshing bath at the natural pool “El venado”. Lunch in "Casa de La Gallega". Continuation of the trip by bus to Santa Clara. On the journey stop to visit the “Manaca Iznaga” Tower in Santi Spiritus, a colonial city that was one of the first towns founded in Cuba by the Spanish. Arrival to Santa Clara. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Free night to rest or enjoy of the city.

SANTA CLARA - VARADERO / HAVANA distance 260/315 km
8th day: After breakfast, visit to Santa Clara city, the Mausoleum of Che Guevara, the Leoncio Vidal park and the farmer's factory. At the end, return to Havana or Varadero or Cayo Santamaría (paying the supplement).
